A dynamic website automatically pulls data from a linked database, which means that the information users see is searchable and up to date.
A good example of a dynamic website is Amazon where prices and additional products can be entered into a database by Amazon administrators. Individual pages do not need to be re-designed or updated. If they reduce the price of some products by 10% they simply amend the price in their database, which then automatically changes the detail in the relevant pages.
Dynamic web content requires at least one database. We can create custom databases to suit your specific needs or customise existing databases for common requirements such as customer data and inventory.
When setting up a database there are two "sets" of pages. There are pages that dynamically change when a customer queries the database and there are administration pages. Employees use administration pages to update database contents by adding or deleting entries.
Although the increased complexity makes database-driven websites initially more costly than static ones, many businesses find the extra functionality is justified. They offer greatly increased control and flexibility over what the user sees.
